Just curious as to what your attitudes on the music, the culture,the "Kvlt", the albums, etc on black metal music...

I just got in the mail finally: Trench Hell "Southern cross ripper" CD, Grave "Into the grave/tremendous pain" CD, Suffocation "Pinnacle of Bedlam" CD, Entrails "Serpent seed" CD, and Testament "Dark roots of earth" Cd! I got a few patches as well from: Incantation, Grave, Trench Hell.

I'm a huge fan of late 80's/early 90's metal. But, with metal u have to find the gems for yourselves. I'm into the bands, not the years what's was released.

On a more serious note: I really don't think so. If the bands tried to be more original, had a some kind of incentive to buy the album. Or if they atleast would take more time to aknowledge their fanbase. Then their sales would be better. Too many bands with elitist attitudes these days!

Anybody here familiar with a Japanese thrash band called Fastkill? Boy! Are they awesome!

Ive been on a witch hunt (No pun) for some good bands worth checking out lately. So far Ive been collecting albums from the following bands: Massacra, (France) Aura Noir, Desaster, Cruel Force, Goatwhore, Deathhammer, Trench Hell, Malevolent Creation,Death, .. Etc... What bands should I add to my collection? Newer and older bands and releases also.

All of those albums including the one by Dark Angel look really appealing! I see we do have similar tastes in metal! You can never go wrong with some Exciter also! How is that Deceased album? I have seen their band name thrown around here and there, and Im a bit curious..

Hmm...I have quite a list of metal bands to look out for this year... Katalepsy: They have a new album out that totally slays in the BDM department, and I know they gotta be awesome live! Sodom: Im glad they are putting out a new album out this year. If they cant make it to the States for concerts. I would atleast like to see a few of their sets online! South American BM band Patria is putting out a new album sometime this year that is worth snagging if your into black metal done right. And also, Suffocation: They just dropped a new album, and now they are on tour now! It feels great to see a legendary DM band put in the work to upkeep their status in the metal scene!

Hi, Im slayer85 and into a wide range of bands like: Desaster,Destruction,Deathhammer,Darkthrone,Morbid Angel,Vader, Malevolent Creation, etc, etc.... My fave styles of metal are black/thrash and death/thrash metal. I am a HUGE fan of old school death metal! And like a few newer thrash groups, but not very fond of the whole "trash revival" movements. Or "Kid" black metal even though I am a huge fan of melodic black metal. Im also an avid metal patch/T shirt collector! I am a regular metal blog poster, and metal reviewer. Aswell as I have a cafe in my home for those into coffee, beer, and heavy metal to comeby anytime!
