  1. Re: More women in metal? Less pigs in ginger wigs? Yup definitely some good women in metal. For me though why aren't there more? And is it changing? In 50 years will in be 50 /50 at a metal gig -male to female? Does the aggressive element of metal appeal more the male psyche (or what is currently stereotypical of men? Not that aggression is the only element in metal. My hope is that in 50 years there will be more women in metal - by then then I'll probably either be dead, senile, or froze my brain in a jar (probably in my freezer - it's top notch).
  2. Re: Hog Justice Room - Who Would You Lock In? I'm on the look out for all violent animals - simian or otherwise. As I go back to work tomorrow, there are some work colleagues that could do with meeting a murderous monkey. Or perhaps their ideas could do with meeting a murderous monkey - kind of like the people - but man some people are wilfully myopic. Stupid fuckers.
  3. Re: What's on your mind? My vicious, randy pig died while I was way and I need a new animal for my hog justice room. Also my neck hurts, I'm tired, I feel sick, my house needs tidying, I'm going back to work in a few week and I'm grumpy to be around. Think I need to listen to something angry. Also looking for a mad murderous monkey at the pet shop but no-one has one
  4. Re: Hog Justice Room - Who Would You Lock In? I don't feel Lee Dorrian and crew deserve punishment in the Hog Justice room. Fair enough if not your cup of tea, but no punishment. Also went on holiday and forgot to feed the hog - he is now just a bit smelly dead pig and won't be dealing justice to anyone. The only vicious and randy animals at the Randy and Vicious Pet Shop is a horrible hamster, a grumpy guinea pig, and a cruel cat . Not fit animals to control the Justice room, I'm holding out for Murderous Mad Monkey. I will lock those in need of punishment in the Justice Room until a suitable mad animal is obtained. The Hog is dead, long live the justice room
  5. Re: What's on your mind? Contemplating reality after being on holiday and not liking how it looks, smells and feels.
  6. Re: 5 word thread! I will have them both

(2nd Ed.) - highlights the idiocy of biomedical psychiatry David Smail - The Nature of Unhappiness/ Illusion and Reality: The Meaning of Anxiety Bob Dylan Metal Rob Flynn Lemmy Geezer Butler

  9. Re: 5 word thread! I really like chocolate cake
  10. Re: WHO HAVE YOU MET? I've met all the guy from Warlord UK all good guys - Death Thrash band from the Uk signed to Nuclear Blast in the 90's, alive and back again
  11. Re: 5 word thread! I really like big bouncy...
  12. Re: Who do you really, really hate... Hate exercise, but hate people who do it more. We weren't designed to do running, jumping, moving for the sake of it. We were designed to run, jump and move for a purpose - to run away from stuff, to gather stuff, to have some purpose for our movements, preferably a purpose connected to other people - not just moving around like a twat. I'd make those who exercise do it till they puke or they start to bleed from various orifices then I'd get a group of these bleeding exercising fools in a room and make then lick the blood from each others holes........perhaps that's a bit on the strict side, but it's for their own good and would teach them a valuable lesson - I'M THE BOSS AND YOU WILL RESPECT MY LAZY AUTHORITY
  13. Re: More women in metal? Less pigs in ginger wigs? Still think there are too many men - would like a ratio far close to 50 / 50 in audience and bands. I think some men are quite anxious around strong females - me I like 'em, then regret it a few months later
  14. Re: Hog Justice Room - Who Would You Lock In? Axl Rose is a cousin of my hog - Axl is the original pig in a ginger wig. After asking my hog, he is more than happy to punish Axl and he won't be turning up late to this show down. The emotional squirrel really loves sweet child o'mine, but even he wants the fat axl fucked up - and this squirrel is a sensitive soul. True metal or not, Manowar will not stay standing when they hear the battle hymn, as my hog goes to war - Hail to the Hog. Justin looks like he's already been in the Hog room
  15. Re: Testament - Good Or Bad + Why? The Gathering is an amazing album - Dave Lombardo's drumming is fantastic, the riffs are powerful, the production great, Chucks a powerhouse. New Order is a classic, I enjoy Practice What you Preach in parts, I think the production on Souls of Black is a bit ropey. Low is cool, but mixed bag. I've only heard Formation a couple times, but what I heard I liked. Ritual is a bit soft for my liking.
  16. Re: Rate and Slate Rate: Dexter Slate: An itch on my back
  17. Re: Hog Justice Room - Who Would You Lock In? Seb Coe definitely goes in, along with David Cameron, he can give Margaret Thatcher a piggie back into the room - she might get lost on the way. Yup guilty as charged with being British.
  18. Re: New thrash acts? Warlord UK - Death / Thrash from mid 90's, starting to gig again - really tight live and sound better now than they did in the 90's. Hopefully they'll put a new album out in next year or so http://www.facebook.com/pages/Warlord-U ... 5937509093
  19. Re: Hog Justice Room - Who Would You Lock In? Give a valid reason and Nicki meets the hog
  20. Re: Who do you really, really hate... Check out my new Hog Justice Room thread
  21. Re: Hog Justice Room - Who Would You Lock In? But that would just leave me and you in a room together - who would lock the door, so justice could be dealt... the emotional squirrels arms aren't strong enough.
  22. I have a hog justice room containing a vicious, randy hog in a ginger wig. I put people in the need of instant justice in there and then lock the door. My emotional squirrel then sweeps up the mess. Who in or outside of metal world would you put in my my hog justice room and why?

    Now...?

Re: Now...? Hog Justice is not to be feared...the moans are now whimpers - justice has been dealt. The emotional squirrel will mop up the mess (swish, swish of a little squirrel broom)
  24. Re: Rate and Slate Slate - my female friend wanting to watch the opening Olympic ceremony Rate - Separation
  25. Re: Best Iron Maiden Album Dance of death is great. Though I love where the wild wind blows from Frontier - that song is a spiritual experience for me (I love the haunting melody) - I like the album overall as well but not a favourite. Piece of mind was first metal album so I'll always have a soft spot for it, but it has a couple of ropey cheesy tracks - quest for fire being one. It's hard to pick one album..... the challenge continues
