Re: Funeral Doom All of their albums are pretty much that way. They're meant to go on and on. I really have to be in the mood to listen to them however.

Re: Slayer I saw them last year with Anthrax & Megadeth. Jeff was drunk or stoned or whatever and was playing every song at less than a quarter of their speed. All of his so called solos were the same 3 notes poorly trem picked as sloppily as possible. I've spoken to a lot of people from all over the world who've said that they've more or less always been like that since they first started. They ruined my view of them. Epic suck was witnessed by all.

Re: hammer fall! I was really into this band until 'Renegade' came out. That album sucked. They did redeem themselves with 'Crimson Thunder'. That's easily one of the best Power Metal albums ever IMO. 'Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken' was just generic and boring. It had a few alright tracks but it was as if they were trying too hard. 'Threshold' was a step in the right direction as far as quality goes but it still lacked the raw power of their first few albums. I completely gave up on them after hearing 'No Sacrifice, No Victory'. Trite garbage. I didn't even bother to checkout infected. I hate when bands do that.

I started making it shortly after I started listening to it. At first I listened to it for the musicality and the aggression. Later it was for the empowering feelings it gave me, a strong sense of individualism yet a connected to countless other globally. Now, it's still the life style that I live aside from being the soundtrack to my everyday life. Probably hokey to many but that's the way it is.

Re: SEPULTURA Never got into their first album, but I LOVE everything that came after, up to and including the sellout album 'roots'. My favorite is a toss up between 'Chaos AD' & ' Schizophrenia' however.
