Re: Anti Nu-Metal I'm much more anti 9th generation Darkthrone/Burzum/Blasphemy clones, the black/death scene is plagued by shitty third world bedroom bm acts, boring two chord war metal bands, and pointless releases clogging distro shelves. Death metal suffers from the same tedium you're either a shitty Incantatin derived band, a Suffocation clone, or a slamming br00tal Devourment baby, its gotten so bad I don't even bother checking out as much new material as I used to.

Re: I'm losing interest in metal, WHY?!? ^ Exactly, one can only spin the same albums especially if you're only narrowly listening to staples, i,e Judas Priest, Sabbath, Maiden, Motorhead, etc. Check some of the recommendations we've listed in prior threads, and the same rule generally applys to even extreme metal bridge out and listen to a as many bands frome every subgenre as you can.

Their newest album was decent Sjukdom I believe is what it was called, its a little heavier than their past albums and a little faster mixed in with some of the depressive traits the sound is known for.

Its a trick term that masks musical talent for playing random notes and sucking the dicks of Blasphemy and Angelcorpse albums because you have no idea how to write good riffs. Shit bands like Revenge, Proclamation, and Morboresidad are all in this style of black metal. Characteristics include: hyper fast blasting, randomly strummed notes, and male goats that the band members fuck because they are homosexuals.

Thats pretty bad. Other than that Gallhammer, Krieg, Black Witchery,Ildjarn, Abruptum, and all of the bedroom/low fi projects that produce countless releases of horrid quality
