Re: Paul Gray yeah i agree, he was a good bassist but all he did was accent the guitars most of the time, i think les claypool (not strictly metal but hey ho it's primus so who gives) is one of the best bassists ever

Re: Claim Your FREE Metal Forum T-Shirt! i agree with most of the above, it's the rhythm sections and harmony leads and heavily distorted guitars and double kick riffs that i fell in love with at first, since then i have grown to love everything about it -

thoughts on this years line up? i don't think it's that good, only a couple of bands i would really like to see all that remains black stone cherry not that keen on avenged or system. thoughts?

Re: DGM you'd be surprised, you can get some extreme metal/heavy metal bands that are classed as progressive. i would suggest listening to between the buried and me or periphery they are two of the most talented bands ever in my opinion
