I have a denim battlevest (no patches as of yet). Found the jacket in a second-hand shop and cut off the sleeves. I think they have the potential to look pretty cool or pretty shitty depending on how you wear them, the arrangement of patches etc. They do make you look a little like a tool trying to reinforce 80's stereotypes but it makes you easy to pick out as a metalhead, plus you can wear the merch of about 50 bands at once (and if you thinks it's cool, fuck what people think). You can get patches and badges from some merch stores (for instance Highway to Hell in Melbourne) or eBay depending on how picky you want to be and money. Also some special edition albums come with patches.

That happened to me at first, I would use a different browser. I normally use Firefox but it gave me that problem, so I now use Edge for this.

I've been playing The Haunting (Testament), trying to iron out some of my errors on Through the Fire and the Flames (Dragonforce) and I just roughly learned the solo in Bat Country (Avenged Sevenfold). I've also been working on a new solo (no particular song in mind for it at the moment but I might slip it into something in the future).

No problem. In the meantime I would just turn down the distortion on one of your current pedals and maybe turn the tone up a tad and combine it with the highest volume setting on your treble (or maybe both) pickup(s).

I recon an overdrive pedal would get you there. I think the distortion in the tracks you are referring to could possibly be caused by gain on the amp rather than a pedal but an overdrive pedal would be a decent substitute.

I'm studying at Deakin, Waurn Ponds Campus. Carnivore are on the ever-increasing list of bands that I want to check out but I haven't properly gotten around to them yet. Thanks.
