Couldn't agree more, barring some nice artwork I see nothing in the music that comes even remotely close to matching it sound wise from them. Had one album (Metazoa) by them at some point but remember it lacked distinctively in the creativity stakes and had no longevity as a result. They are one of those bands who make progressive black metal sound dull without having to try too hard. There's more expansion and scope in Colin Marston's fingernails than in all of Cormorant put together.
Finally. Cormorant? Who chose that name? Yeah, really progressive and black metal that is. I assume Storm-Petrel, Fulmar and Shag (tee hee) were taken?
