  1. Morbid Angel "Formulas Fatal to the Flesh"
  2. Morbid Angel "Domination" - pleasant enough, can see the reason this one gets props for being an unsung hero in the MA discog.
  3. Haven't heard enough Vader to comment to be fair. Heard "Sothis" and "Black to the Blind" a few times but don't find either that memorable. Deicides' self titled debut holds a special place in time for me and I am a big fan of "Legion" also. I do also own "Scars of the Crucifix" but that is a bit crap. Abstaining from the vote because that's how rebel I am! Plus if you're gonna make a vs thread - put a poll up!
  4. Ouch that sounds hurty. Hope you get sorted.
  5. Couldn't agree more, barring some nice artwork I see nothing in the music that comes even remotely close to matching it sound wise from them. Had one album (Metazoa) by them at some point but remember it lacked distinctively in the creativity stakes and had no longevity as a result. They are one of those bands who make progressive black metal sound dull without having to try too hard. There's more expansion and scope in Colin Marston's fingernails than in all of Cormorant put together. Finally. Cormorant? Who chose that name? Yeah, really progressive and black metal that is. I assume Storm-Petrel, Fulmar and Shag (tee hee) were taken?
  6. My only experience of them and whilst I thought it vocally very naive (they are writing songs in their second language I accept, however lyrics like "who cares if you're a Muslim or a Jew?" isn't well pitched or placed) I enjoy a lot of passages for their progressive and expansive scope and I think they do blend cultural influences well. The clean singing gets a bit of a grate after a while though. Just finished Blut Aus Nord "777.." np: Deathspell Omega "Drought"
  7. So far today: Orphaned Land "All Is One" Drudkh "Blood In Our Wells" and now Immortal "Damned In Black"
  8. Majesty In Ruins "All Light Shall Fail" Stumbled across on accident on Bandcamp just now - proper doom inspired heavy metal.
  9. "Tea and scones"? Blood and bone marrow cakes is how I roll.
  10. I bought a new pair of shears the other day. I currently have several vulnerable states quivering beneath the threat of these shiny blades. Getting Weed Killer tomorrow and taking on North Korea in the axis stakes.
  11. Not even MI5 would get out of my house alive.
  12. In an unexpected twist - Amazon have sent me a full explanation and have resolved my issue by removing the restriction on my account.
