No harm to u but I think u need to grow up and start showing some respect to someone that has brought u up!! I had the same issue when I was a kid but I just went underground and listened to what I wanted when my parents weren't listening, hell my da would still say to me that my music n tshirts r awful and I'm near 40!!!! Yeah there's def some bands that don't sound great live, as you say they might have too much going on to be able to transfer it live, it was an outdoor gig n would like to hear them in a small venue just to see.

Lol I've no issues with people that listen to numetal, I've just no time for bands that spend more time doing their hair than on their music far too many genres of metal these days I come from a time when metal was metal, it's hard to get my head around all these different types, I don't listen to the 1 style though...I'm very mood driven like when I'm in bed I'd have on something like Agallogh r similar. Cheers for the welcome!!!

This is currently the bands that I'm always listening to... Mastodon (only recently started listening to them) Ancient VVisdom (absolutely amazing..I recommend lighting 1 up any lying back and see where it takes u) Slayer (an old fav that never tires) Black Sabbath (dusted down the old vinyl, as I've just got tickets to go see them in Dec) Helloween (I'd forgotten how good the keepers albums sound n found the lp's when diggin out my Sabbath 1's)

Every1 has to have a guilty pleasure of a band they like but r too embarrassed to say....come on spill the beans!!!! My guilty pleasure has to be.........Dr Hook and the Medicine Show!!!! Drug fueled music I just cant help singing along to whenever I hear them...now I'm not a fan of the later soppy stuff but the earlier stuff like Cover of the Rolling Stone and Makin it Natural.

My love of Metal started along time ago, I still to this day find myself going back to my roots of 80's and 90's thrash as I'm typing this I've Xentrix blasting through my speakers...I do listen to alot of newer stuff too but all this numetal and stuff like that can suck the back of my ballsack!!! I fucking hate posers!!!!
