  1. Napalm Death-Inner Incineration I forgot how much I love this album.
  2. Amazon has most of them all around 10 bucks or slightly higher. I love Children of god some of the songs on there are really dark
  3. I adore the live version of that song on the extended version of that EP, just so much energy and passion from all of them in those songs live.
  4. I know there are even a few moments where I swear to god the nu-metal riffs just slaughtered my expectations. I made it to song four before I stopped De la torre's vocals are poorly utilized/layered, and the riffs sound like they toured with Disturbed and their guy used his leftovers and branded them with the QR logo TM.
  5. Fueled by fire are a thrash parody, Skeletonwitch are a bunch of dopes trying to meld melodic black metal riffs with leftover Kreator and Kill em all-era Metallica and doing a solid job at it. Not that I've bothered with some of their recent output.
  6. Into glory ride, Hail to england, and Sign of the Hammer (barring the shitty hard rock songs) are good albums. Not really much else to say about them, I made the mistake of trying to sit through Fighting the world and it was toss. They're at their best when they make epic songs (Gates of Valhalla, Mountains, Dark Avenger) but when they get into the anthemic by-the-numbers filler, hard rock, or hackneyed repetition of their past material they are among the worst musical moments in heavy/power I've ever heard.
  7. Gateways is a great album to me and truly the album that sticks out among their post Vincent days, the riffs are crushing (Opening the Gates, Ageless still I am) and the faster tempo it inherited from Domination and Formulas make it a crushing album. I find myself coming back to it the most out of the albums in their discography, apart from Covenant which is just amazing through and through.
  8. I played Punish my Heaven for a friend of mine who adores melody and precise musicianship in his heavy metal and it blew him away. Granted, he was already well aware of DT's back catalog, but he had never taken the time to listen to the Gallery which I found odd considering he knows all of the early Gothenburg bands quite well. The Gallery didn't do much for me at age 14 but looking back at it now, it is quite possibly the best album out of the melodic dm style.
  9. Pan.Thy.Monium is truly all you need, Bloodbath is solid too if you want some punchy and riff oriented (as opposed two the usual bland no riff Swede dm) but other than that Swano has/had way too many side projects and Edge of Sanity are boring as shit.
  10. Shit band, but they were ok live believe it or not
