Re: Ibanez talk I really love John Petrucci's Ibanez. A long time ago, they sold 1000 limited edition models of it. My dad was lucky enough to have one, and it was absolutely incredible. Not sure what happened to it, though... I wish he still had it, so I could play it. xD

Today, July 10th, is the 69th birthday of Ronnie James Dio. Dio is best known for his work in the band Black Sabbath, Rainbow, and his solo work in the band named after him (Dio). Dio died on May 16th in 2010, from stomach cancer. His memory lives on through his amazing voice- which I personally feel is one of the best metal voices ever- along with the legendary devil horns finger sign. His talents and skills truly make him a metal legend. What are your thoughts on Dio, and the projects/bands related to him?

Title should pretty much explain it all. What heavy metal sub-genre lyrics do you like the most, and why? I like the lyrics in most power metal songs, since they are usually epic and tell a story in some way. It's nice to imagine things while you are listening to a song, and power metal lyrics are really good at doing that. I also like black metal lyrics, even though they are often hard to understand. But they are wicked and brutal.

Re: Judas Priest I absolutely LOVE Judas Priest. Over the past 40 years, they have had a ton of excellent musicians in their line-up. I also enjoy Halford's solo work, since Rob Halford is just amazing. He truly is the Metal God. I am really said that K.K. Downing retired, though..
