And, by the way all, the version of NNC Summoning I have is the one with the live versions of all the songs after the originals, proving - and it didn't need proving to me - that they ain't playing at random. Beware, you have summoned Thatguy. This happens to be the only album of theirs that I own and I'm listening now. I had forgotten about this album. It is structurally quite conventional and the musicianship is of the highest calibre. Of course the Goat-in-chief would hate this, but give it another go, Ari, you're better than that. 🙃

I've listened to bits and pieces of this guys output and I agree with your take. Too much dungeon synth by far but the guy is clearly talented. Many if not most solo metal artists need a band and this guy really really needs a band.

Excellent and to the point rant. Amongst other things I'm currently reading a biography of Eugene von Neumann. It covers his intellectual milieu and his work more than the events of his life. I can't say I understand that much of it, but the author makes an effort to help the non-mathematician and it makes me think.

I get that and good on you. I have never had the knowledge nor inclination to tinker with computers and related gear so I'm OK with sticking with what works for me.

It's the capitalist system, mate. You've got to buy from one branch or other of our greedy overlords. Apple stuff works well for me.

DEMONCY - Black Star Gnosis. Noice. Even the overlong intro track works as it should building a keen sense of anticipation. OLHAVA - Sacrifice. Something completely different, but also noice.
