  1. Today
  2. Morning Giants - Eccentric Beasts (2024) U.S progressive rock.
  3. Abramelin - Never Enough Snuff (2021)
  4. Immortal - Sons of Northern Darkness
  5. Kadday chicken curry tonight, i’ve been making it for years, but only recently learned. That’s what it’s actually called.
  6. Mango lassi, though I probably should have waited and had it alongside the chicken Kadday curry I’m making for dinner tonight…
  7. Haha Always blame someone else! (that's not good advice but don't tell anyone!)
  8. Yes I like to jump on them but I got in trouble when juice went over floor. 😥
  9. Powerwolf - Blessed And Possessed
  10. I’m fully on board with it being legal and regulated just like alcohol or tobacco, hell I’d probably use once in a while if it wasn’t illegal in Australia. I’d have to make hash brownies or something though, smoking it is off the table considering my asthma.
  11. I suppose that's true. I remember when Leviathan were on Southern Lord there were more than a few articles that could be summed up as "Wait. From California? That doesn't seem right." That Barghast was well made and sincere enough that if I hadn't known before hand I never would have guessed. You get a lot of Sludge coming out of Louisiana mostly so I was pleasantly surprised. NP: Inhuman - Prerogative Of The Unborn 085GD: Inhuman - Prerogative Of The Unborn (2024) | GrimmDistribution (bandcamp.com) Now this is what I was looking for the past couple of days. Between this and Spiritual Deception's new one I'm feeling much better about the state of tech-death in 2024. Actually looking at it, the alien thing looks like one of the madness hackers in the Android: Netrunner card game. I'm sure that's not intentional, but it would be some cool theming.
  12. Never been to Baton Rouge, but there's always small pockets of subversive filth hounds where you'd least expect to find them.
  13. It's difficult to deny the truth
  14. It's legal here. Weed stores everywhere. My problem is it took them so long to legalize it, I'd already quit smoking the shit years ago.
  15. And when no one is looking you can blow them up and jump on them, making them explode!
  16. NP: Barghast - Altars of Rot Altars of Rot | Barghest | Caustic Hollow (bandcamp.com) Fun. For as often as I've stayed the night or passed through Baton Rouge I'm surprised that anything even remotely close to blackened death would come from there. Really solid little album.
  17. Yeah, this seems like the kind of thread that will get revived from time to time usually by a new poster who probably doesn't get to talk about it in day to day life very much. It's good that it exists though since it will inevitably, if deleted, be remade. In any case I was very much a frequent user when I was younger. So much so that I developed a small reputation as the guy who always had it, so I was invited to a lot more social gatherings than I really ever wanted to attend. My thoughts on the legality basically remain the same though. Namely that there's no reason police time should be expended chasing a charge for what somebody, as the owner of their own body, can and can not put into it. I should note that I view simple decriminalization as the worst of both worlds since it doesn't take away an easy revenue stream from organized crime and, in fact almost encourages it. Full legalization is really the only way to make it work. As it stands FDIC insured banks aren't allowed to touch any money from marijuana commerce and a micro economy comprised entirely of free floating untraceable cash is a petri dish for that type of criminal activity to gain a foothold. Also the people who make the best arguments for keeping marijuana illegal are the potheads themselves. For the love of god if you find yourself in a debate about this and somebody says something to the effect of '[X] family member died of an overdose two years ago, and he started using marijuana first' do not laugh at them! Yes, the gateway argument is ridiculous, but be considerate of the fact that people who've lost somebody they cared about will have probably adopted that attitude because it helps them ease their mourning in a small way. You do yourself and every other advocate for legalization a great disservice by meeting another's mourning with mockery. Hold your ground, but do not be sardonic or unfeeling.
  18. Juice boxes are fun and tasty. You drink with a straw. Much more fun than drinking out of a glass. 🤩
  19. Its easy. They are everyones favourtie coz they are the best.
  20. Yeah but still the most sensible post in the thread.
  21. Not the kind of weed this thread is talking about. Sidenote I forgot this thread existed until just now.
  22. Every body's favourite band is Iron Maiden just some struggle to admit it.
  23. Does it taste different when it comes in a box? My kids used to refuse to drink juice from a bottle, but the same stuff in a box they would have drank all day every day if we'd let them.
