  1. Sorry for the late response! I'm usually only in Forum Games and don't come here often. I love Death, Atheist, Watain, and Naglfar. Atheist is one of my favorite tech death bands, Watain is amazing black metal, Death is one of my favorite death metal bands, and Naglfar is close to being my favorite black band. You have some pretty great taste. ^^
  2. I really think some of you completely strayed from the topic I originally created and made a whole new mess out of it. Allow me to clarify some shit. I don't criticize nor do I insult people for not knowing genres. If anything, I try to help them understand genres better so they don't make themselves look like asses. I don't care to give approval to what people like. I don't give a fuck if someone listens to Black Veil Brides, One Direction, and Justin Bieber. Like what you like, I'm never going to insult you for it. If you listen to metal and call yourself a metalhead, I'm not gonna call you a poser or say that you aren't a metalhead. What I was saying before is that the person I was talking to that claimed he was some huge metalhead only listened to Post-Hardcore. ...That isn't a genre of metal. So, while getting pissed because I do consider that to be a poser for obvious reasons, I'm trying to help him understand that what he listens to isn't metal and insert into his brain what metal actually is. The person I was debating with didn't insult me for what I listen to, nor did I insult him at all. He insulted me for being a metal elitist (I was only debating that certain bands were Post-Hardcore rather than metalcore), and he started insulting me for my age and elitism or whatever. I don't care that he listens to Asking Alexandria, BMTH, or Of Mice And Men; I was just trying to get him to understand the genres. Clarified? I'm tired so I'm doing my best here to be as clear as glass grade meth. In other news... I'm hoping to get this back patch for my vest. http://shop.metaldevastation.com/DEATH-Scream-Bloody-Gore-thrash-metal-075-BKPTDEAT075.htm
  3. Turns out the denim jacket is measured by chest size and not length. I'm so excited. I'm really skinny so I should be able to fit into a small without issue. I hope this works out. I'm ordering the vest now
  4. I think we strayed a little from the topic. I don't care if he enjoys those bands, I was just arguing that they were post-hardcore rather than metalcore. I couldn't agree more with the high school drama comment, but this dude is like 30 and mentioned my age multiple times in the debate. Did I mention he used Wikipedia as his source of genres? I'll say he's a metalhead because he is a fan of plenty of metal, but the guy just doesn't know his shit.
  5. Well, not sure where that leaves us... I don't like shit being called metal nor metalcore when it isn't. If metalcore and nu-metal are metal or not just varies with who you're talking to. And Father Alabaster, the thing was that I never called anyone a poser on twitter. So that part of my elitistism is ruled out. I was being labeled as an elitist simply for knowing my genres.
  6. I still consider nu-metal and metalcore to be metal. I think you two just disagree with me there.
  7. Empyrium - Songs Of Moors And Misty Fields (album)
  8. I'm an elitist to the point where I like the best of the options I have to listen to. I'm not an elitist to the point where I'll insult people for what they listen to. If someone says something is metal when it's not or a genre that it's not, I'll correct them without insulting them. I'll even debate without insulting them. I'm allowed to insult bands made up of posers like Suicide Silence, however. I don't consider anything to be "fake" metal. It's either metal or it isn't. I'll call Suicide Silence metal, but while gritting my teeth. Can you explain how I'm an elitist so I can try not to be one so much? But if someone says they're a giant metalhead when what they listen to isn't even metal nor a mixture with metal in it, I think I have the right to call them a poser. I have been a bit more of an elitist in the past, but I think I've gotten better.
  9. According to him, I'm a metal elitist. Even though I tweet about my love for metalcore, deathcore, and some nu-metal, and post songs of the sort, I'm apparently an elitist because I'm knowledgeable. To make it more stressful, he has more respect in the community than me. And I'm really in love with the vest I found. Contacted customer service for information of when it'll be restocked for my size, and if they don't have any or it won't be soon, going to retail stores this weekend to look. I want this vest. I apologize for my shit grammar this morning. I'm not paying much attention nor am I proofreading.
  10. Agalloch - A Desolation Song It's a morning for beautiful songs.
  11. Candlemass - The Bleeding Baroness This is the definition of a beautifully composed song...
  12. I'm thinking about a Death back patch since Arsis doesn't have any... The problem is that I have no artistic ability. Ohterwise I would love to paint it on. :\
  13. Benediction - Killing Music I love this album, and this band.
  14. You don't understand how perfect this vest is... It's a Levi's vest. Completely clean of patches, no way I'll have patches already there. I just wish Arsis back patches existed. No other band deserves to be there once I finally have my vest.
  15. Like my morning wasn't already shitty enough due to those fuckheads I mentioned earlier. I finally got some money and was going to start a battle jacket. I found the PERFECT black denim vest at Levi's on sale for just enough for me to afford. Well, guess fucking what, I wear a medium and it only comes in small. Fucking hell. I fell in love with that vest too. The third review down, "THE MOST METAL VEST SINCE SLAYER RELEASED REIGN IN BLOOD".
  16. Officium Triste - Master Of Your Own Demise
