Re: What bands do you want to see live? Great gig last night from KMFDM, ears still buzzing. 1 good support band, Resist, and 2 poor ones. £15.00 for 4 bands, can't complain. Next planed is Rammstein 2 nights running.

Re: Covers!!! That 5FDP is awesome, love it. The radio station I listen to in work has a covers section each day & this one gets the most asks of any, followed by Metallica's Whiskey in the Jar.

My favs are, in no particular order:- Rammstein Combichrist Pantera Violent Work of Art Paradise Lost Sybreed Draconian I'll add others as I remember them. And now Neurotech after finding them on here.

Re: How Metal Affects You It affects people around me. lol They think I'm strange & different, sounds about right. The odd one thinks I'm a Satanist & I don't tell them otherwise. I'm not a new kid on the scene, been around Metal & rock for over 35 years starting with Sabbath. As my taste for it developed my circle of mates changed, some of my old old mates think I'm weird but who gives a fook. I'm also well into the Goth side of rock so all the mainstream groups dislike me, ooo look he's got a shaved head & tattoos. Music for me is emotional (I don't mean emo), I play what suits me at the time, as I type this "Until Death Overtakes Me" is on in the background, before that it was Deathcamp Project ( a bit Goth for most on here I would think). The lines of genres are so blurred it's hard to say what is metal & what isn't, I don't think there are any rules. It's each to their own (as long as it's loud & heavy).

New to the forum but not METAL. Mainly Industrial for me but like most metal. Last gig was Combichrist in Manchester UK. Not sure what's next but prob Aesthetic Perfection in Manchester again next month. Got tickets for 2 dates on the up coming Rammstein tour, Manchester & Nottingham. Just getting into Talans & Ancient VVisdom.
