4/10 - Iconic piece, but not feeling it now.

7/10 - The piano adds quite a bit to this song. "Inaccessible"

9/10 - Nice, mellow tune from Miles

6.5/10 - It's nice overall, but too squeaky clean for me. I never got into Paradise Lost.

Gigan - Multi-Dimensional Fractal-Sorcery And Super Science

7/10 -- classic Megadeth, but the remastered version has some changes that I dislike. lol It really doesn't bother me. I like some High on Fire once in a while, mainly for the drumming. Besides, you at least explained why you didn't like it.

6/10 Not bad.

6.5/10 to the Massacra track. Kinda plodding, but does the job and has a nice opening.

In some parts, yes. In others it buries the guitars in everything else. Makes them sound hollow and indecipherable at times. I don't dislike either mix really, I'm just glad the other was included as well. It's the one I prefer now when I listen to Nightside. Plus you get the As the Shadows Rise tracks on the 20th Anniversary version. It's a really underrated EP.

I'm glad that the 20th Anniversary re-issue of Nightside came with a different mix without the wall of reverb that was on the original. And yes, Faust did play on their last tour (duh). I could go for seeing them play Anthems in it's entirety, but looks like I'll miss them this time 'round.

That's the best attitude to have about it. I've also had old friends who started being dicks or outright disappeared just because I got a new job, or moved to a better place, or went back to school, etc. People being shitty like that just makes them forgettable.
