  1. Necrot - Mortal (released today)
  2. A few shameful acquisitions: 1. Copies of Once Upon The Cross and Serpents Of The Light by Deicide. Great albums, only shameful purchases because I very recently bought that Roadrunner Collection box set. The heart wants what the heart wants though eh! 2. Reality Only Fantasized by Caphernaum. Shameful because I didn’t want to spend £150+ on a genuine copy, so made my own bootleg instead. Actually looks pretty good, and I don’t feel too bad about it given the cost of an original. 3. Cross Road - The Best Of Bon Jovi. Requires no explanation.
  3. Obscenity - Summoning The Circle
  4. Capharnaum ‎– Reality Only Fantasized (another obscure OSDM gem)
  5. Ugly Kid Joe - America's Least Wanted ?
  6. Anesthesy - The Fifth Season (obscure OSDM gem)
  7. Necrophobic - The Nocturnal Silence
  8. Napalm Death - Scum Anesthesy - The Fifth Season Benediction - Dark Is The Season Rat Skates - Born In The Basement DVD
  9. I only discovered it recently. Wasn't familiar the band 'back in the day', and in more recent years I only knew them for the Benton material (which I am yet to be able to enjoy, much as I have always been a bit of a sucker for Deicide). But this album is gold, anyway; and I'm thinking that I probably need to pick up the other non-Benton albums now too.
  10. They haven't done a bad track in three albums and a compilation, one of my favourite bands.
  11. Benediction - Dark Is The Season
  12. Can't pretend it wasn't a big pain in the balls, or that I ever want to sew anything ever again, but I am definitely glad to have done it ?
  13. *edit* I have now added a couple more badges 🤓
  14. Never sounded like DM to me, but these things are pretty subjective. Never liked that album either so I am quite possibly biased.
  15. What wonders await you... Reign In Blood is widely regarded as being the best Slayer album, and for good reason, but South Of Heaven or Seasons In The Abyss might be a better starting point. Oh, and all Death albums rule, in different ways. The debut is my personal favourite, and arguably the first ever proper death metal record.
  16. Cannibal Corpse - Eaten Back To Life
  17. Eternal Solstice - The Wish Is Father To The Thought Vital Remains - Let Us Pray Rotted - Pestilent Tomb Blood - Christbait
  18. Vital Remains ‎– Let Us Pray
  19. Varathron - His Majesty At The Swamp
  20. I like Deftones. Think I might be one of the few that think they have got better as time has gone on. It isn't a matter of me discovering them late either - I loved Bored when it came out in '95, saw them live in '98 and really enjoyed it, and so on... but they were always a band that I was inclined to make my own compilations for, since I didn't particularly enjoy their albums as a whole. The two most recent albums might be my favourites on that basis. But they have always produced great songs in amongst the ones I'm not so keen on, and have always been an excellent band. The only 'nu metal' band I could ever stomach. Looking forward to the new album for sure. Anyone into Palms (a side project)? Their self-titled mini-album rules.
  21. Eternal Solstice ‎– The Wish Is Father To The Thought Such an underrated album.
