There's a band named Mork from Norway I'm really digging right now. Black Necro Metal. They knew not of an American tv show. The name is short for morken which means the gloom of the forest or something. Good stuff. It's out on some Canadian label and the album is called Issebakke.

There's also a band out of Nashville called Ocala I like quite a bit but their music is hard to find. Generally I'm a big fan of Norwegian BM mostly though.
