The library in Liverpool is amazeballs apparently, a work colleague goes there all the time when not with clients as he finds it more relaxing than working at home. I just wanna explore their "cannibalism" section.

Having a pretty easy week at work for once with 3 early darts already this week. On a less happy note I have injured my foot walking too far in flat shoes and then trying to hike up a huge hill on Sunday did little to help, in fact I haven't been able to walk properly all week without looking like a right cripple. Home tomorrow then straight out on Saturday to hit Liverpool on a museum, library and boat show (shut up) tour culminating in an overnight stay in a hotel with a 3 course meal, all for free!

I recall trying to get into them once but soon gave up, although the exact reason why escapes me.

Good deed for the day, the gf found an injured bird on our patio this morning and brought it in and looked after it whilst the RSPCA came to pick the bird up. They just took it away now confident it should be fine after a few hours rest - no broken wings or big injuries.

In his latest act of Parkinson's defiance my dad is today attending a specialist horse riding school so - in his words - when they are on holiday in the countryside he can get a horse to do the walking for him as his own legs can't.
