Fantastic, mid-paced death metal!

Been on an Annihilator binge the last couple weeks. Not that I've had much time to listen to music. Only heard their 1st two albums in full before now. 

Tight, fast and catchy riffing. That's what makes the band. They can be cheesy at times but when the musicianship is this good, I'll allow it....

Started off with Refresh the Demon on which songs 1-3, and 5 are killer. Went over to King of the Kill where I only enjoyed "21" and "Second to None" (except the mellow middle part). Checked out their S/T (2010) and it's overall pretty solid. And finally currently listening to Metal which is also pretty good after one listen.

It's nothing special, a little more bitter than the other piss water we produce but still beer. But at least it doesn't taste like a fruit salad.

I used to take stout to parties all the time in the 80's because it was the only shit that would still be left in the fridge at the end of the night. Even a piss head wouldn't drink sump oil.

Wanting beer that tastes like fruit is like wanting bacon that tastes like ice cream.
 

My goodness, I had no idea!  I sure hope nothing disastrous happens while Joel is up high - seems like a bad combination with lots of beer drinking.

When he started doing that he apparently never told anyone of his intention. Everyone from the band to the manager to the show staff called him down but he refused and just went higher. Since then it's gotten more and more out of control. Some festivals have tried to stop him but he generally finds a way up anyway. In that aspect he is copying Doc Neeson, singer of Australian band The Angles (Angle City in parts of America). Doc started climbing stage towers singing as he did it and always in bare feet.

I don't doubt that at all!  I've seen some of their live shows on YouTube, and he seems to climb a tower or two during every show.  Not sure how he manages to continue playing his guitar in the meantime, but he certainly brings that rock 'n' roll energy on stage, reminiscent of the mighty Angus Young.

Great minds think alike, my metal friend!  If Joel and the boys ever come over to the U.S. near me, I'll be there waiting to catch a beer can that he crushes against his own forehead.

My favorite Airbourne album!  The one-two punch of "Raise the Flag" and "Bottom of the Well" (tracks 4 and 5) is just tremendous.
