80's and 90's metal vs. nowdays metal
Silhouette_Usurper replied to HaHaKekKekPewPew's topic in VS. Forum
Simply put, nowadays metal, cause it keeps on getting heavier, and the styles I like the most (metalcore, tech death, etc) are having their big time now, or were having it just recently. Also, production values, musical complexity and sophistication keep growing in metal (and some other music genres as well), and I like that too. -
Mp3 for me, cause: - they take no physical space - they can last forever - you can hear them anywhere easily Regarding physical medias, I like vinyl, but K7s would be my main choice.

Most of the time I think they'd be better off without it, but it's part of metal behavior no matter what, so I try not to bother. Also, I'd always thought that the more you use "non musical artifacts", the bigger is your compromise to deliver a good performance (otherwise, you probably won't be taken seriously).

Perhaps Slayer's Undisputed Attitude might be the heaviest that I know. Its track Violent pacification is heavy as crack.

In 1994, through Black Sabbath's "Forever" compilation.

Jinjer, Revocation, Black Fast, Dillinger escape plan and Rings of Saturn.

English is not my native language, but I think I can manage it. I'm mainly into death, thrash, black and metalcore (and associated subgenres of all these). Hope we'll have a nice time here, I'll be glad to take a look at the ongoing treads. Thanks!
