  1. Ahh OK I see, yes this indeed does seem like something I would very much be into. Going to have to get around to checking out some of those bands you listed there. Thank you! I always appreciate recommendations.
  2. Hey man I'm new to the forum as well! Welcome! Seems like a pretty cool place just based off the short amount of time I've been poking around here.
  3. Currently listening to Deicide - Overtures of Blasphemy. Honestly I've seen a lot of people complaining about this album, and for me I do like it. Sure it's nowhere near Deicide's best or anything like that, and it's not anything special, but I still find it enjoyable.
  4. As far as thrash some of my favorites are Warbringer, Toxic Holocaust, Slayer, Skeletonwitch, Death Angel, Sodom, Overkill, Testament, Exodus, Anthrax, Megadeth, Sepultura, and Municipal Waste. Thank you! So far I do enjoy the site. Can't promise I will be posting a ton, but I will be around. Thank you! Belgium huh? Very cool! My fathers side of the family is from Europe, mostly Germany, and I've always really wanted to take a trip over there and take a good tour of some of the best places over there. Lot's of great metal comes from places like Germany and Norway and such! I love it! Thanks! Forgive me for this noobish question, but what exactly is war metal? What are some bands that fall in that category?
  5. A handful of my favorite DM bands, just off the top of my head also in no particular order are: Obituary, Aborted, Autopsy, Cannibal Corpse, Bloodbath, Dismember, and Nile. Tons more that I love for sure, and those mentioned might not even be my top, but just a quick thought came up with those.
  6. Honestly gotta go with Rust in Peace here. Always been partial to that album for some reason, and I don't even know exactly why. I just have always really, really fuckin' loved that album!
  7. Hmmm good question... Right now I think my top 5, in no particular order, would be: 1. King Diamond 2. Obituary 3. Autopsy 4. Aborted 5. Slayer
  8. Hello there. I'm another metal head from Seattle in the United States of America. I'm mostly a fan of heavier stuff, like DM, BDM, Grindcore, Thrash. You know, all that good stuff. Just came across the site and thought I'd give it a try.
