Hello everyone, I'm Aeon from Atlanta Georgia. I'm new to forums in general but I wanted to join to meet other people within the community of music. I sing and play guitar in a prog metal/ hard rock band called Dear Shadow. My influences and inspiration span across several genres and artists like Coheed & Cambria, Deftones, Circa Survive, TOOL, Kendrick Lamar, Outkast, Issues, SZA, Wage War, Every Time I Die, Sleep Token, Polyphia, and many others. I'm super into video games, movies and football. Glad to be here!!

We can't believe we're writing this but... after 6 years of development, our game is finally out! (I'm one of the guys in the development team) We are having a heart attack and would like to ask you, hoping it's ok to do in this forum) to check it out and if that's something you think you might enjoy (an album made as a video game) give it a try and support us on our first day on Steam. "Of Bird and Cage" is the first rock/metal album produced entirely as a story-driven narrative video game, aspiring to establish a new gaming genre of interactive musicals. The project features an array of well-known musicians like Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal (ex-Guns N' Roses) Rob van der Loo (Epica), Ruud Jolie (Within Temptation), Casey Grillo (Kamelot), Rocky Grey (ex-Evanescence), Davidavi 'Vidi' Dolev (Subterranean Masquerade), Kobra Paige (Kobra and the Lotus) and others. IF YOU WANT TO HELP AND SUPPORT, PLEASE WISHLIST ON STEAM: https://store.steampowered.com/app/523770/Of_Bird_and_Cage/

Hello everybody - My name is Joe Compton. I grew up on metal, loving metal. The father figure introduced me to Sabbath, KISS, Van Halen, and Priest at an early age and I took off from there. I am not a musician but I am a fan. I hope that makes it okay to be here. I do have a specific reason for how I found this forum and something to offer but I am just getting started here. I do something that can help hopefully a lot of you get seen and build a new audience but I don't just want to spam here. I love metal and talking metal so I do want to be someone who actually contributes to the conversations here. What I do is not going anywhere soon but you can get a clue from my forum name. I have told a couple Indie Metal artists about this place already, so hopefully they will come and be a part too. I have been lucky enough to meet some awesome and talented metal artists and hope to make a few more friends here. Right now I have been really into Entombed, Khemmis (I just got into this kick ass band), Opeth, August Burns Red, and Amon Amarth. I always have my fall backs like King Diamond, Slipknot, Anthrax, Slayer, Dio, and Iron Maiden (who I named my Publishing Company after actually). Been enjoying the new Metallica to an extent but I think they have made some missteps, one of which is not including Lords of Summer on the actual album. I live in Northern California and had attended every Ozzfest there was at Shoreline and then subsequently the last 3 mayhem festivals that were there. The last one was pathetic even though it had given me my first opportunity to see King Diamond ever. Anyway if you want to know about or talk metal with me I am here. Cheers, Joe

Hey guys, my band Skin Drone has an album out titled 'Evocation" you can check it out here: www.skindrone.bandcamp.com. We also have a special going on where if you grab a shirt, you get a physical copy for free, you can take advantage of that here: www.booster.com/skindrone. Metal Injection recently called us the "cluster mind fuck of the year" which is pretty awesome. Let us know how we did, good or bad. We would leave to hear feedback from our metal peers. We also have a bunch of stuff up on our youtube: www.youtube.com/user/skindroneband. We have a lyric video, music vids and what not. Thank you guys and hope you enjoy!
