  1. Gotta say SYL, "City" is bonecrushing destroyer. But, solo stuff has some great moments. I just think that Devin composes too much music, so much that I think it loses its quality because of quantity.
  2. I like humor in music. Even more, I like when things go chaotic and schizophrenic and really weird with things like Circus of Dead Squirrels, Pryapisme, Mr. Bungle and much more. I don't like taking myself too seriously. On the other hand, it's great to hear deep emotional stuff. Someone mentioned Katatonia, they certainly have some great moments. But, I don't like hearing one single atmosphere on the whole album. It can be boring.
  3. Metallica - Master of Puppets Slipknot - Iowa Nirvana - Nevermind Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral Pantera - Cowboys from Hell
  4. No, I haven't, I'll check it out as soon as possible. Does anybody remembers the moment in Gorgoroth documentary when the repoter says to Gaahl something like "Show me!" or "Guide me!" and Gaahl becomes stone cold?
  5. I like watching some old, atmospheric movies. "Nosferatu" from 1922., I like old Yugoslavian/Serbian movie "Leptirica", "The Shining", "Eraserhead", that kind of stuff.
  6. Static-X Nine Inch Nails Limp Bizkit Slipknot The Prodigy
  7. Oh, I like "Procession of the Dead Clowns" by Blut aus Nord. A great song!
  8. Yeah, I understand. I guess I went for them since I wasn't a big black metal fan so I tried with bands that are the most famous. I'll check out your bands a bit more, of course I know for Immortal and Rotting Christ but I never listened to them actively.
  9. Thanks, dude! I'm trying to promote some of it, but slowly, I don't think about albums right now. My idea is to work on a one song at a time and see how it goes. The next thing I'd like to do is to cover a band/project from Novi Sad called Svarun and a song called "Vlast" by my friend Nikola Pacek-Vetnić. I also have a band that is called Salvation Zer0, we released one album called "Abusement Park" a few years ago.
  10. I don't listen to any of these, but when my black metal moment comes, I would probably put some Gorgoroth, a bit of Dark Funeral, Borgir, Natrakh. I like some old Burzum, also Varg's ambiental albums. I always enjoy watching "Black Metal Satanica" documentary, I don't know why, that atmosphere is interesting to me, especially at night. Also, I watched some documentary about Gorgoroth, Norwegian black metal and Gaahl, that was also cool.
  11. @Relentless: Hi, man! Well, it really depends from my mood from day to day. Sometimes I can listen to most extreme and experimental stuff, sometimes I like to hear the most easy listening music. Sometimes I don't listen to anything.
  12. So, Gordan Lazinica is my full name and I'd like to share some of my solo stuff with you guys. Currently I'm doing song by song so it's a slow growth but right now it's ok with me. Hope you'll like it! g-S6zBqYl8o 6BgIQuqdqis If you dig anything from this, you can support me on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Gordan-Lazinica/195353950475299?pnref=lhc
  13. Thanks, people. @Father: I like Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot, Korn, Metallica, Strapping Young Lad, Anaal Natrakh, Dimmu Borgir, Lamb of God, Faith No More, Pantera, Fear Factory, The Devin Townsend Band/Project, Sybreed, Meshuggah etc. Right now I'm listening to some Static-X stuff. @SugarPill: Pozdrav, čovek! Pretpostavio sam da ću naići na zemljake, kul, kul!
  14. Hey, guys! My name is Gordan and I'm a musician from Belgrade, Serbia. I'm trying to connect with some metal friends outside my country and share music with you, hopefully at least some of you will be interested in song or two. It's never bad to try to find some cool people to interact. Aside from metal and rock, I like NBA, comedy, wrestling, video games. So, I hope we'll be cool, I don't know what else to write. Let's rock!
