While this is a kind gesture, I can only accord you and Requiem "Neighbor Of The Beast" status, as I'm on page 668 at the moment and previous posts on this topic clearly appeared on 667. Probably better that way, I hear the Beast has something of a large mess in its basement.

How is that even possible mathematically, let alone metaphysically? I'll need to see an undoctored screenshot.

I noticed this too. It was cool. I got first post on it.  I'm the poster of the beast. This can't go on, you must inform the law.

Yes Requiem, you are the undeniable poster of the beast and no one whose forum pagination doesn't differ from the norm will be able to deny you that honor. Would one of the moderators please affirm this fact for Requiem? We would all be grateful if you would.

Until a moderator comes in and acknowledges your prestige, Requiem, here is a satanic certificate I stole for you from off of the internet. I hope it brings you solace.

official certificate of satanic prestige award to Requiem by Gorboze for undeniable "poster of the beast" status. Issued in his blasphemous name on fathers day 2017.

  3. I picked up a stereo components cabinet on the side of the road. It is big and black and has a glass door with magnetic clasp thingy. Totally classic. I put my stereo components in it. I have lots of them, and several even work properly. Also I got Weedeater tickets for tomorrow.

  4. I can't speak to Axl being cool, but it is cool that he is performing with the band. On another subject I have increasing respect for Skid Row having recently watched a "heavyist guest performances on SNL" video which was mostly some really boring grunge shit. The front man in that band is pretty lively and entertaining. I saw them open for Bon Jovi in the late 80s (chaperoning my little sister if you were to wonder why) , I enjoyed Bon Jovi actually, and at the time thought that Skid Row was sketchy and gross. To bad I didn't really know what i was missing, but if you can't see the guys facial expressions you are missing the show. That was at Old Orchard Beach for those interested in classic Maine Venues.

Will they help with the gardening? :D

No, they will not help with the gardening. They will blow into town, snort up all the coke, trash a hotel room, play a mediocre set and then shtup some local in the tour bus before blowing town without regret. Oh for the life of a metal superstar! And me... I'll be doing yard work and Soccer Moming like I do weekends. But for those three hours when I've painted my nails black, purchases a fresh pack of cloves and put on my Gun's and Roses T, I will be able to touch that glory vicariously. When I say "touch that glory" I mean that figuratively mind you, it will not be I, the local on the tour bus.

  6. Hella' fucking hot in the Great State of Maine today. Driving around all day getting things at the various getting places. Gardening over the weekend myself Macabre, only not finding it so therapeutic as all that. Weedeater is coming to a local venue next weekend, and I'm looking forward to that.

I just got here. My first time on one of these things, in any category! I'm going to see Metallica in Seattle August 8. I saw them in 92 also and realized that was 25 years ago! Anyway I thought I could check out what people were saying about the tour on here. Wish we were getting Volbeat, I like them a lot and had never heard of Gojira. Well, I checked them out and they do that yelling thing on every word of every song I heard by them and I checked at least a dozen. Smh. ...I may be 56 but am I that out of touch? Is this COOL? But then, I'd be willing to sit through Tiny Tim's Tip Toe Through the Tulips for an hour if it means I'll see Metallica and Ax7! Thanks for the invitation to introduce myself.

Welcome to the forum, I hope you like it here. That yelling thing you mention seems to be more than a passing phase. Freeking kids these days. I guess it's cathartic at best and a little frat boyish when it's not at its best, at worst... well, best not to pay attention. I hope you enjoy Gojira.

Please enjoy these tulips as a welcome...

I just could not find a good image of tulips with a Ukulele, go figure, I thought the internet had everything.

  8. We've been admiring the little fox family at play out the window. Super cute babies, all plump from eating two of our cats through the winter? Yes, that is a possibility, but they are really cute and one of those cats killed lots of birds so he had it coming. I,m taking a pro fox position.

  9. I'm pretty excited about the new album Sacred. I'm sort of dismayed to learn that they played in Boston last night, if I'd know weeks ahead I could have arranged to go. That is hard to deal with I guess. I feel like I ought to have been there.

  10. Hey, you have provided plenty of information, way above average in fact. Not many posts like this result in someone finding what you are looking for for you. I'm always interested in why one searches for a lost song though. Could you please explain, even if it is simply that you liked it and want to see more of the band, and see the video again. Thanks for you consideration, and sorry we can't be more helpful to you.
