If there are any bands out there looking for gigs then Inverness would be a good place to go as there are many people over here and not enough metal bands.

Re: Anti Black Metal oh I do agree it is great music and it is indeed fascinating couldn't describe it better then that. But my Theological training has taught me that finding a deep fascination with these things leads to being draged into a whole world of pain and evil.

Re: The best Power Metal bands Definatly! HammerFall rock. I do find them hard to listent to sometimes though if you know what I mean? Don't know too much about Avantasia but Lost in Space and a few others that I have heard by them are amazing!

Live albums don't take alot of effort to make and they only feature songs that a true fan would have anyway. However people who were at certain concerts that were featured on the album can say that they were there (In personal terms you can hear me shouting on dragonForce's Twilight Dimentia album on the song StarFire) So whats your opinion should we buy live albums or not. I own (in terms of Metal) two live albums. DragonForce's Twilight Dementia and Sonata Arctica's Song's of Silence. I am very much for them but think that they should be redused to as low a price as possible

Wikipedia says that Bon Jovi are a classic Metal band. I disagree I would say that they are a Hard rock Band. I saw them live on Wednesday and I would say that they are definatly a Hard Rock Band, Encyclopedia Metallum also has no regard for them on there database.

I think that the people who hate DragonForce and say that they are untalented clearly have no ear drums. yes it is true that alot of there songs sound similar but let's look at the facts they are insane with there guitars, drums and keyboards/keytars. I could't find many people who can play keyboard better then Vadim Prushanov. Singing was sometimes a bit down but an evern better singer has replaced ZP Thert now any way. So in all ways I think that DragonForce are amazing in studion and live.

Re: Good folk metal bands? I'm as much in the dark as you are. I know little of good Folk Metal bands...

There should be more selection in terms of Speed Metal, Symphonic Metal, Alternative metal, maby a screamo section as well oh and a (hated ) nu metal section. Gothlic metal as well (don't like half this stuff my self but think it would be good for you to improve the forum).

Again...anouther genre that I am unaware of. Any recomendations as to what bands I should listen to in this category?
