  12. An Abstract Illusion - Woe (2022)
  13. Toxik - Dis Morta (2022) First listen to the album. It sounds nice, with some progressive passages. Tom Hunting style drums (I don't like it). Ron Iglesias (vocals) seems to be having a blast with his high-pitched voice, but I much preferred him in Xenophile (RIP). Edit : I just finished the album. I'm not thrilled. There are some good songs but overall it's not an album I'll listen to often. Candlemass - Sweet Evil Sun (2022) Crown of Thorns - The Burning (1995)
  14. Les Enfants de Dagon - De Profundis (2022) Le Chant Noir - La Société Satanique des Poètes Morts (2021) (The Black Chant- The Satanic Society of Dead Poets) Maligner - Attraction to Annihilation (2018)
  15. I agree: there are so many things to listen to on the internet (bandcamp, youtube, streaming platforms) that it is impossible, if not very difficult, to find THE gem, the great album of the moment. I rely on my friends to give me ideas of albums to listen to. It's thanks to one of them that I recently discovered An Abstract Illusion and I loved it. Otherwise, I read a lot of reviews on the Internet (webzines). By doing so, I regularly manage to find bands and albums that I like. And then, when I don't find anything new, I always have my old indispensable albums that I dive into with great pleasure.
  16. There are so many good bands in metal that it's hard to make a list. It all depends on your preferences in Metal, 707. In the main references of Hard Rock/Heavy Metal : AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, DIO, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Saxon, Scorpions, ... If you want names of Thrash, Death, Black, Doom bands, we'll give you tons and tons 😁
  17. Kreator - Cause for Conflict (1995) Kreator - Pleasure to Kill (1986)
  18. Onslaught - The Force (1986) Death - Human (1991) Judas Priest - Painkiller (1990)
  19. I liked Elements of Anger and I'm just discovering the other albums. I doubt Sadus will return to wild things like Swallowed or Illusions, just as I can't imagine Dark Angel doing Darkness Descends again.
  20. What is your favourite song of the band? The one I've loved most of all for years is Chemical Warfare, especially on the live Decade of Aggression. Played at the very end of the show, you can feel Dave Lombardo letting loose on this track, especially on the break. He has so much energy! I had the chance to see them on stage playing Chemical Warfare and then Ghost of War. An unforgettable magical moment!
  21. Since last week, the band Sadus has been posting a countdown on their Facebook page and we are now 2 days away from the... From what? A single to be released on November 18th called It's the Sickness. Is it a track from a forthcoming EP? From an album? In 2020, the band was supposed to record a new album and had suddenly stopped everything. I hope this is the album!
  22. Pestilence - Consuming Impulse (1989)
  23. Watchtower - Control and Resistance (1989) When it comes to technical Thrash Metal, I much prefer Mekong Delta to Watchtower. But I love the Concepts of Math: Book One EP and Ron Jarzombek's guitar sound so this morning I'm listening to the first Watchtower. Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons (1995) Ghost - Opus Eponymous (2010) Discovered by curiosity in 2010, I never got hooked on this music, a mix between Mercyful Fate and pop. I was expecting something creepy. It's just too pop in the choruses, the vocals. Sigh - Shiki (2022)
  24. Ah, I love this band! What a shame they split up! Cathedral of Ice is a song I really like.
