THE ARMED - Ultrapop .....never expected to like this, as I have never listened to the band's other releases....not sure why....but this one I bought on a recommendation from a friend....definitely getting more of their stuff now.... ....kind of a gentler version of CONVERGE....still pretty aggro.....

LUNAR REIGN - Magnum Opus ....forgot just how great this was....some of the best USBM out there....sad that not enough peeps heard them before they called it quits....

...it's always cool to find new music, no matter when you discover it... ....try out some of HUGH CORNWELL's and JJ BURNELL's solo work....I think you'll like it.... NECROPHAGIA - Black Blood Vomitorium

...I definitely haven't forgotten about "Seasons Of The Dead"....great record....I consider it more of a thrash record though..." Painful Discharge" is my favourite from that record and is, for sure, heavily leaning toward the DM side and most assuredly influenced other DM bands....if I'm not mistaken, these tracks were recorded in '85 almost 2 years before the record was released... ...I think my favourite record by them is "Holocaust Of The Dead"....although their entire catalogue is solid with no bad records....

....well you've definitely got one of the best ones with "Rattus Norvegicus"...I'd for sure recommend "La Folie" which has my favourite song by them, "Golden Brown" .... "Aural Sculpture" is a later one with Hugh Cornwell that is excellent.... ....my favorite by them is "No More Heroes", which came out the same year as "Rattus"....pretty amazing having two records that good in the same year....the title song is pretty recognizable..... ....classic post punk of the highest calibre.... ...I'd also look into JJ BURNEL and HUGH CORNWELL solo stuff too....it's good listening too, unless you find that you don't like THE STRANGLERS....

BLACK BREATH - Slaves Beyond Death TORTURE KILLER - Swarm ....they haven't been the same since High Cornwell left the band, only one original member still in the band but I'm still a fan....looking forward to the new record....
