  • Biography
I'm a bass player with a jazz background that found metal and can't stop playing it. I'm full of random information so don't mind my random nature, it happens. I'm studying music and art history. I also enjoy learning new things, as long as you are not pushy about it I'll remember it. So travel into this crazy maze I call a mind if you dare.

Bastet's Achievements

  1. I know. The new ford mustang looks like it would be fun to drive, that is if I fit (why do I have to be so tall).
  2. F-Type Jaguar Coupe 550 hp V8 is my new favorite.
  3. Epica-The Quantum Enigma.It's a good album.
  4. Father Alabaster- I said it before and I'll say it again. Metal is an epic unique art form, and that is all that matters. There are so many different types of metal out there that we all have our own opinions on things. So I say let it be.
  5. 1969 F100 Baby blue and white is another one of my dream cars, well truck.
  6. I'm doing an instrumental folk metal style.
  7. The crazy things I can make my bass and guitar do... I love making music!
  8. Some people just have a hard time explaining themselves. I guess I've always just been one of those people that find it easy to explain music. Anyways, I'm not sure of which sub-genres do it mostly just because there are soo many of them. It's like EDM and its ever growing sound, which just blows my mind how fast it grows... I'll have to get back to you on that. My brain is just so full with trying to finish my own EP, that's hard to think about anything else but composing.
  9. I think fallen angel666 is talking about the 'classic metal' that involved breaking chords into arpeggios to create a unique sound with a melody on top. It is this done today it just depends on the sub-genre you are listening to. Plus a lot of sub-genres mix with each other. Something like Satyricon's Phoenix or Cradle of Filth's Temptation. It's just a matter of finding a hidden gem within the mass collection of metal that sticks in with you.
  10. I don't watch much TV now a days. It just gets boring or frustrating with all the commercials.
  11. People just think too much when it comes to colors. As an artist I prefer not to have too much unless it is meant to accent something important visually in a piece.
  12. I've done some studio work for a lot of local bands so I couldn't tell you for sure if I know them or not. Honestly I don't go to many shows because I'm usually working when shows happen.
