Next year 2014 ProgPower USA Atlanta, Thursday Night Pagan's Mind returns!!!!!!! I'll be driving 1100 miles to be there.

As you can see by my avatar Pagan's Mind is one of my favorite bands. I'd never even heard of them until 2010. Once I'd heard them it was clear that this was a band I was going to be into. I have all their albums, love each one. Word has it they are currently working on a new album. I'd also like to give a mention to Stian Kristoffersen a fantastic drummer.

Hi, just joined the forums. My hope is to talk music and to get turned on to bands I may not have heard of yet. In the past year alone I've be turned on to several great band from being on FB so i'm hoping I'll discover even more great music here. Stuff that is currently getting a lot of my listening time now - DGM momentum , Novembers Doom Aphotic, the new Queensryche, Volbeat outlaw gentleman and shady ladies , Pagan's Mind god's equation, Mystic Prophecy savage souls, fireangel , satanic curses , Vanden Plas the seraphic clockwork, Tony MacAlpine self titled , In Flames sounds of a playground fading , reroute to remain , Jeff Loomis plains of oblivion, Nevermore this godless endeavor, Andy James self titled, just to name a few.

I was recently turned on to DGM. I picked up their Frame and Momentum albums. Both are excellent, amazing band, drummer is killer.

I've been a QR fan for quite a while. I first heard them back when the EP came out and followed them right up through HITNF. After that I stopped buying the newer stuff as it did nothing for me. Year after year, album after album I tried to figure what was going on with them, the material seemed to get worse with each album. I picked up the new self titled Queensryche album with Todd singing and it's fantastic. One of the best QR albums to come out in quite some time and one I'd put right up there with their best work.
