Re: Bon Jovi Bon Jovi was originally considerd pop metal same as Van Halen, but as time goes on bands are demoted ( for lack of a better term ) to classic rock. I think that's unfair.

Re: Anouther.. Stoner metal seems to sound a lot like doom metal, the only differnce I've seen is more synthesizers, and longer songs. Moccasin is a good band.

Re: CLOTHES I have long hair, metal T-shirts, an Army style coat(olive green) mis-matched fingerless gloves( one red and one black) , a grunge belt, tatterd jeans (skinny but loose past the knees), Work boots, and I draw on my face(it scares people).

Re: More sub genres Proto metal is like the roots of metal ( examples include acid rock, and heavy blues.). These genres are where bands like Black Sabbath got there inspiration. Moast hard rock made from 1958-1969 are considerd proto metal.(proto metal ts one of those relitive terms, some people consider it true heavy metal).

Re: no bassists? :L I would get someone to teach me how to play, but I can't afford a bass, that's one of the reasons I do vocals is I have a microphone that I found in my closet.

Re: female metal vocalist? Girlschool is one of the best bands of the 70s, no one talks about them today though.

I alwase use clean vocals and I'm Pretty good , but it's great to have other people give you tips so you can improve on your method. Dose anyone have any tips?

Re: Suggested bands? what do you mean These Saint Vitus is one of the 1st Doom Metal bands, and Sleep is one of the best. Don't Belive me, look it up.

Re: Who is the best out of the big 4 ??? Slayer is the moast aggressive, Metallica is more proggressive, Anthrax is over the top, and Megadeath is just good solid metal. You just can't compare them.
