    Lateralus, may be there most cohesive, but I have to say, I've always liked AEnima best. The title track is such a great song.

    I think this is where Tool peaked. Lateralus and 10 000 days have some good songs but no album of theirs work as well as a cohesive unit. I also feel that this album is where they managed to balance their worst impulses (overly wanky sections, childish humor (Hooker, Die eier von Satan), meandering interludes) with actual, solid songwriting with a beginning, middle and end.
