Hi! First time on the forum, and it's with some shameless self promotion. The e.p. entitled "A Hell in Living Flesh" consists of 5 brand new tracks; 1. I Am Leviathan 2. Warmaster 3. Arch Contaminator (1985) 4. Flayed Disciple 5. The Dark Other The band are immensely proud of their work on this record. Original drummer Phil Tolfree has returned to the throne. Although Phil did not perform on the last release, he still kept an active involvement in the band by writing the lyrics for the entire 2014 e.p. Needless to say, the band are delighted to have the fastest feet in the West back behind the drum set. For sure, the first thing the listener will notice is the brutal vocal attack brought to the fore in the shape of new vocalist Merv Hembrough (ex Burning Skies). Being a perennial advocate of underground extreme music, Merv's huge character, enormous presence, and even bigger vocal range has rendered him the only serious choice for Flayed Disciple going forward. With these changes to personnel in mind, the band believe they have delivered a more clinical approach to their song craft, whilst retaining the classic lyrical themes, and signature Flayed style.
