I understand that they have to eat too. But it ain't gonna be this gal to do!!! I have no problem with adult mice feeding but not a defenceless pinky.

I personally wouldn't own a sand boa. My friend had one and he had to feed it pinky mice. I can't do that. Adults I don't have a problem with. But not pinkies.

Absolutely. Actually in canada some people are putting there snakes in their wills. Because they live such long lives they'll generally outlive us. It's not something to do without thinking things out thoroughly.

Get a ball python. They're the best beginner snake. Super chill and docile. There's not really much to taking care of them either. It's so easy!!! I've owned three. Just do the research. It's very easy?

Yea they can be a highly aggressive dog. And they're usually a one person dog. Not usually great with kids either. It's unfortunate because they're beautiful.

did the blue heeler have to be put down because it was aggressive? im curious because i live in cattle country and the blue heeler is one of the most popular breeds choices for cattle dogs here. but they all seem to be like that, especially if they dont know you.

omg in my entire life I've had about 20 cats, 6 dogs, about 20 rats, a rabbit, mice, 3 snakes, the raven, 2 tarantulas, umbrella cockatoo, cows, horses, fish, frogs... I think thats it lol

lol to each their own I guess. I definitely consider some sharks pretty and even beautiful. I'm definitely a fan of what my friends call the "creepy crawly" pets. In my life I've had countless injured garter snakes that I nursed back to health and released. Three ball pythons, two tarantulas, frogs, and god knows what else. I also had a raven when I was a kid that I nursed back to health and released. I'd say my favorites where the snakes and the raven but I love my Tarantulas too.

Oh I can say I have a lot of respect for the Great White shark. They are amazing. They just arent my personal favorite is all. I think Tiger Sharks are much prettier.

Most species of freshwater tank “sharks” are unfortunately only sharks in name. And they grow much too large for my tank lol

Completely understandable. I once punched my ex boyfriend in the nuts because he used his fingers to make feel like a scorpion climbing on me during one of the “mummy” movies. Probably Scorpion King. I can identify. Pictures and videos don't bother me though.

My ex roommate and I use to have a Kenyan sand boa. But my personal favourite is a ball python. I've iwned three over the years. I've never been scared of snakes. Even when I was little. I use to chase my sister with them lol. I'm probably going to hell for that lol. I was wondering about starting a discussion that just for people who have or like the creepy crawly pets. Or would you have to mod that too?

Wow! That's really unfortunate. My fear of heights is like that. Completely paralyzingly... hence, why I'm forcing myself to go skydiving. Fear is just something I just can't handle within myself. Though I can definitely understand and sympathize with it. If it will really bother you that bad I won't post pictures of it.

is your fear seriously THAT bad?!?! Wow!!! I use to be too. But I can't handle being scared of things. So I make myself face them. I got over my fear of them while working at a pet shop. Chilean rose hairs are generally the choice of most shops because of their usual docile nature. However a close second is the pink toe. They're both pretty chill. I had a Chilean rose hair last time. This time I haven't decided between the two previously mentioned species. The pink toe does require more room though, because they're a tree dweller and have to have a taller terrarium. Where a rose hair only require a 8x8x6 terrarium. The terrariums they're in at pet shops are usually far too big. It can make them very anxious.

In different parts of Canada and the United States we have whats called the BSL (breed specific legistlation)... or as some people call it Bull Shit Laws. Its different in different areas. Some places its just Rotts and Pits. But in other places its all the power breeds. Either way its bullshit because its not the breed its the people raising them. Its not fair to punish the breeds and responsible dog owners because of a bunch of assholes. People use to get frightened by my dog sometimes too (now deceased). He weighed about 110lbs. Rottie X Black Lab. He was a big lapdog and baby unless you threatened his Momma... and then all hell would breake loose. He saved my life twice. I had to have him put down in 2012 when he got cancer. It was too late before we even knew about it. He was an amazing dog!!!

How is that horrible? They're part of my fresh water aquarium I'm setting up. As for dream dogs... thats a great breed. But personally my dream dog is a German bred Rottwieller.

  23. yea, I tend to like my friends to at least be as insane as I am lol
  24. Headphones darlin'... headphones!!! When I cook the headphones go in and everyone stays the fuck away from me. Startling a woman who has a very sharp knive in her hands is not a good idea. Lol. Hence stay the hell outta my kitchen when I'm cooking!!! I'm kinda territorial about the kitchen anyway. The only reason anyone except me needs to be in there is to put something in the garbage or refill their coffee cup if I don't do it for them. I really hate it when people fuck with anything in my kitchen. I really get grumpy!

LOL!!! I love the corvid family for the most part. Ei. Ravens, crows, jays, magpies... But magpies are definitely my least favorite of the bunch. They're loud and annoying!!! Ravens are definitely my favorite. I would actually keep on as a pet if I found a fledgeling. They are insanely smart. And little known fact is that they can learn to mimic people talking, car horns, dogs barking, and a whole host of other things. They are one of the smartest of wild birds in north america. One of the coolest things I've learned about them is that if you help one in need it will communicate that kindness to the rest of the birds that it is usually around. And they will also become more friendly and trusting towards you. I have a mating pair (they breed for life) that hang out in my yard that I feed on a pretty regular basis. Last year I caught a pretty unique moment with my camera. It was in the fall and that springs chicks were fairly by then but when the mother, father, and chicks would come eat the food I had put out for them, the parents would still feed them like they were babies. They are such doting parents. I'm actually going around the end of the month to start on a half sleeve that is of a raven. I'm pretty excited about FINALLY getting that started!!!
