Argus is a great pick! Straight up kick ass Heavy Metal!

Carcass Insomnium Gojira Huntress Dream Theater These are the bands in heaviest rotation right now.

Pallbearer - Sorrow and extinction. Atmospheric Progressive Doom, it's heavy without being overly sludgy and riff wise is different than most Doomy Stoner bands. Lots of great melodies. Anyone else like this band?

Witchcraft - Legend.........amazing album. easily in my top 20!

Already did my introduction a day or so ago, but I am also a prog-head. One of the best Progressive Death Metal bands ever is - Death..................Also love Dream Theater, Symphony X, Protest The Hero, Gorguts, Enslaved, Necrophagist, Obscura and about a million others!

Currently listening to The Faceless - Autotheism. Also in response to the last few posters, I love Deftones. Glad to see people aren't to Metal to still appreciate good music.

umm......Scare don't fear was terrible. I cant believe bands are still doing this. Hate to be so harsh, but that's how I feel. Division By Zero was much better, I am a sucker for anything progressive in nature. Has a bit of an Evergrey feel to it. I can dig it! I obviously love Crimson Shadows, the combo of Power/Death/Epic European melodies has me slaying dragons in my living room! How about some straight up old school Heavy Metal?
