im so far into the middle if bum fuck Arkansas my gps can't even find a road within 5 miles. on top of that the main road here was flooded so i had to take a bunch if residential streets and non truck routes just to get here. thanks city of Johnson AR for not even providing a detour you lazy fucking shitheads. oh and im sitting in a cave in the side of a mountain. the is the entrance i had to go through which is only 13'5''. my truck is 13'6''. i ended up having to dump the suspension to make it through. next is a meat plant 3.5 miles away. sometimes i dislike this part of the country. I lease my truck too but i guess its different somehow. either way its bullshit that anyone has to pay that much money for repairs. i blame it on California and their stupid EPA emission standards. as soon as i can im moving out of here and getting a truck that doesn't have a DPF system. the truck i have now can run for about 3.5 million miles without repairs if it has no DPF system. So my truck is broke down once again. Now i get to sit around in Kansas City, Kansas waiting for the Peterbilt shop to open up on monday. Considering I just spent $8k on this damn trucks DPF system I would expect it to work but sadly there is yet again another fuckin problem with the DPF system that caused my truck to d-rate. Basically it the part that sprays fuel into the DPF system(the DPF fuel enable accuator) is clogged or something and not getting fuel to where it needs to go. Seem like a simple enough fix however because of it's location on the truck it's going to be quite costly, something like $3500 in work and parts, possibly more if there's anything else that needs fixed. I never realized until recently how costly it is to fixed a semi.
