And that's why ethics do not belong in science no offense to you but I would give my life if it was in the name of humanity but it's understandable if you wouldn't, I honestly can't say I blame you.
-
Yea wouldn't that be nice. It's just too bad nothing like that will ever happen in our lifetime. I honestly wish I possessed the capability to do something about this world even if there was no guarantee I would succeed. At least then I could try but instead I'm being pulled down and stopped by all the dumb ass idiots who live on this planet.

Oh damn well I tend not to pay attention to who i'm talking to so sorry about that. Anyways I know how that feels, I'm antisocial because of how this world is and when I stay by myself too long I tend to get the same way and just feel really nihilistic.

I can agree with that, me and Oblivion had a discussion about this. I was all for eugenics and a mass purge on all the less intelligent people as a way to help clean up humanity's gene pool although most people think mass genocide can't be good even in dire situations.

hahaha I do agree with that. I mean he did call himself the "prince of evil". But I like Mayhem and even though if they went on many people would have died I think it would have been worth it. But then BM would be banned probably.

That's why I can't understand why he killed Euronymous, he has so much potential and he waists it on anti-semitic views and murder. What the hell man?!?!?!He was arrested for no good reason. Hopefully he'll be released soon, so he can get back to the one thing he does that is worthwhile - music. Yeah he's a dickhead, but a talented one. Hvis Lyset Tar Oss is easily in my top 3 black metal albums. Oh and I would add Ihsahn to the list of bm musicians who are not morons. -

That's understandable and I like how you respect other decisions.I don't smoke and will never smoke but those who do are exercising their own free will so I have no problem with smokers though I would prefer they not smoke around me. -

Of course there has and personally I feel that most bands do their best because of that raw power and sound and energy they have. Bands early in their formation channel all of their emotions into that band since it's just the beginning and that energy most of the time dies out after some time. Some bands are able to conserve this energy and intensity longer than other bands but sooner or later all bands just lose the power they once had. With Hypocrisy I think by switching to melodeath they renewed some of that energy but it took the Catch 22 and The Arrival albums being shit to get it right. I think some of these bands need to mix things up a little bit so they don't get stale if that makes any sense. I'm not saying switch genres or dramatically change the sound just mix it up a little and try something new. That's why in my opinion Heavy Metal died out, it was getting old and people wanted something different and heavier.

I did a list of my top 100 black metal albums on another forum' date=' maybe I'll repost it here. I would like to see responses, but if it only serves to help people find new albums that they may enjoy, that's also cool.[/quote'] I would love to see that list I'm always looking for new songs to listen to. Would you have anything akin to Destroyer 666? I also like a lot of the underground and under-produced BM like Secrets of the Moon and Argar. I also listen to melodic BM like Mactätus and Graveworm and Dimmu Borgir. I pretty much list to all BM so just go ahead and send me anything BM except Burzum, I have a grudge against Varg.

How old are you? I think I remember you saying somewhere that you were early 20's' date=' I'm only 25, so not that much difference. I've been listening to metal for about 11 years, and I play in 2 bands, one doom/death (Nevertanezra), and a new black/thrash project that doesn't have a name yet. I listen to all kinds of different stuff, but the bulk of my listening tends to gravitate around those 4 subgenres, as well as most of their variants. However, black metal probably takes up the biggest chunk of my collection, if I had to guess, I would say that I probably had somewhere between 400-600 black metal albums, depending on how liberal your definition of it gets.[/quote'] I'm 21 and I've only had 60-80 black metal albums come through my hands although I always look up bands through the internet as I don't like buying shit albums so that being said I've probably listened to close to 300-400 BM albums in total.

Hypocrisy started in 90' and have since then been pretty good still even after their switch to melodeath. If may have taken a couple albums to get it down but they did with the Virus album and End of Disclosure isn't a bad album though it may not be the same as their previous ones.

I suppose it's possible. You are new here and I'm not as familiar with what you listen to as others here' date=' but black metal does tend to be my most listened to genre, followed by death metal, doom metal, and thrash metal. I definitely don't know every band out there, but I have a pretty good understanding of it and a well rounded collection from most older scenes (not as much modern stuff though).[/quote'] Really I didn't know that I though you were more of a death metal guy but that's what happens when you assume right. I pretty much listen mostly to BM as I love the dark atmosphere it brings. I also like the raw under-produced sound, combine that with the high pitch vocals and it is the most intense sound I've ever heard. That doesn't mean I don't like band like Dark Funeral or Carpathian Forest or Gorgoroth, I just prefer the raw sounds. Anyways given the age difference I imagine that you would know more than me as you've had a longer time to listen to BM.
