The Ibanez RGD61ALA-MTR is an absolute gem, and guess what – it's actually my dream guitar too! The good news is that you can absolutely tune it to standard E without any issues. The longer scale length might give it a bit of a unique feel, but it's totally doable. And yes, you can also down-tune to drop D or even lower for metal shenanigans.
