My friend who is getting into metal also got me into metal. Until now i've listened to Toxicity and the self-titled album by System of a Down; I also listened to Apricity and Voices From The Eternal Night by a band called Atra Vetosus (i looked them up online and they do Melodic Black Metal) and Gold Cobra by Limp Bizkit (nu-metal is the genre i'm most familiar with)
So i joined this forum to expand my knowledge on metal and listen to more of it because there's a lot of subgenres and i don't know where to start
