Sickness

Glad to be on board. My name is Steve, I live in Germany and I've been into metal for the majority of my life. It all probably started when I was about 15, playing Guitar Hero 3. I've always been into rock music, but I could never quite put my finger on what to call the things I like. The first metal song I've ever heard (it was actually outside of GH3) was "Down with the sickness". This song got me into metal and probably changed my whole life, hence my nickname. Over the years I actually learned about the sub genre of metal and in the golden days of YouTube I was free to binge as much as I would like.
If you ask me, the energy created by metal is unprecedented. No other genre of music gives you that kind of rush and the will to push trough life's toughest challenges.
