Tool - 10,000 Days. I love how peaceful this album makes me feel, it's like an hour long meditation.

Thank you! I actually have an older brother who was really into metal music so I grew up listening to bands like Slayer, Pantera and Sepultura. But I guess because metal was always his thing I never explored it more myself even though I really enjoyed it. Then last year I went to see Gojira and had this huge epiphany that this is what i need in my life. So here I am. Thank you, will do!

I joined this forum in the hope of learning more about different metal genres etc and finding new music to listen to. I'm kind of a newbie with everything and atm I just wanna figure out what makes me go from 'this hurts my ears' to 'i love this'. Hah.
