Hey all, A little background, I've been half-assedly playing guitar for about 10 years, my strength is in acoustic/fingerpicking, and unfortunately my metal chops are lacking at best. I'm wanting to get a little more serious about playing, and playing metal is what I really want to excel at. So, I work for a music store (shameless plug), and talked the owner into becoming an ESP dealer. I got the ok to order about 20 different models, 3 of the E-II, and the rest LTD's ranging from high to low price. So now that I can get my hands on ESP I'd like to invest in a good one for myself. I've got a pretty wide range of styles I like, but Thomas Youngblood of Kamelot is one of my favorite musicians, and his playing style is generally where I'd like to head towards. I'm currently playing on an Epiphone Les Paul Standard. It's a solid guitar but it doesn't wow me (neither does my playing!). So, in the upper range of the LTD line, or perhaps an E-II if it's a must, what would you guys recommend? I don't have any high hopes of becoming the next hot thing, but I love to play for the love of playing, and want a guitar that I'm going to love to play. Regards, roO
