  1. I'm a hard rock & heavy metal lover from the UK. I feel really strongly about promoting our smaller and unsigned metal bands so I set up an online news blog @ Full Distortion | Promoting New UK Hard Rock & Heavy Metal Bands in the hope that people will discover what smaller bands are around and hopefully check out there music and gigs to help them on their way to becoming hugely successful - They need your support too
  2. London based metal band Savage Messiah have announced that they are going on tour at the beginning of 2015 with Swedish Metal outfit Amon Amarth and Californian metal band Huntress. It's been a great year for Savage Messiah, with the release of their third studio album The Fateful Dark which includes 10 heavy riff driven metal tracks including singles "Cross of Babylon" and the brilliant "Hellblaiser" Watch the video & read view the tour dates here
  3. The image that all heavy metal bands and their songs are affiliated with satan, lol - Or at least send messages that glorify unholy activities! It was because of a poster which showed skulls and the word wichcraft!
  4. You are completely right deathstorm! Did you read the article? The singer is a catholic himself and therefore admits that no song is written about anything unholy and that it's simply the way that people interperit the music they play - The priest in this case has completely categorised ALL heavy metal as unholy music without looking at the facts!
  5. So you think Metal music should be stopped just because of it's image?
  6. A UK heavy metal band recently had to change their venue after a Catholic Priest told them that they couldn't play their charity gig because they "couldn't guarantee me that they don't sing any anti-Catholic or anti-faith messages in their songs"! The full story is at http://fulldistortion.co.uk/article.php?id=14164897132681 (Please Read) This has gotten a lot of press recently here in the UK and even further afield and I want to know what you think of this! Was the Priest right to do what he did?
