  1. My first 360 had that red ring of death thing happen to it a year ago but I was able to transfer all the data on the old hard drive to the new one. Why was Sony's gen III console so unreliable? Haven't gone for the PS4 either as a friend of mine had his crap itself after three weeks' date=' got it fixed and then had more issues, the PS1 and PS2 never went wrong.[/quote'] Actually that's not so true. The old original slab grey PS1 has an issue with the laser being too close to the power supply, so over time the laser gets damaged. That being said, my PS1 from 1997 still works perfectly, and that's had thousands of hours of gameplay on it. The original PS2 was notorious for disc-read errors. My PS2 has this error. You just have to keep inserting the DVD until it feels like accepting it.
  2. The replacement PS3 also broke within three months of getting it and I haven't gotten 'round to having it repaired yet.
I bought 2 PS3's slims. Both kept locking up, so I took them back and exchanged them for a 360 Slim. I've never had an issue with that.
  3. NO WAY! '96 was the year I got my MegaDrive as well (also my first console) then the N64 in like '99' date=' PS1 in '02, PS2 and Xbox in '04, X360 in '08 and PS3 in '11 (replaced in '13).[/quote'] Ha! ;P ...................
  4. I'll call you in twenty or thirty years, might be useful. I actually didn't start enjoying alcohol until my early twenties. Right now I'm downing a Brooklyn Winter (scotch style) ale mixed with a bit of whiskey, an excellent combination. But in general I'm staying off the sauce to keep my vocals strong. I also recently discovered why I don't like Strongbow: they sweeten it with corn syrup after brewing. It's always made me feel funny and now I know why, corn syrup always messes me up.
If I remember correctly, corn syrup is banned in the EU.
  5. So I finally made it home safely. I had to pawn quite a few of my belongings to get money for a ride home but I made it so I'm relieved. My buddies dad is also a trucker so I already have a job lined up and ready to go. Hopefully things don't go so shitty this time. Oh yea I got robbed in Atlanta at gunpoint. Turns out the greyhound bus station is located in the projects and white people probably shouldn't walk through there at night...found that out the hard way. Good thing I already sold all my important shit I guess.
Did you get stranded somewhere or something?
  6. Umm... as you can see im already in the process of learning & my knowledge of metal isnt too shabby. Ive been listening to metal my whole life' date=' but i dont understand what metal is classified as what but um yeah thanks for the awesome welcome man [emoji108']

Hi, and welcome to MY forum. Please be aware that everything you say and do will be monitored. If your metal knowledge doesn't improve considerably in the next couple of weeks, then I'm afraid you will have to be asked to leave.
  8. If you mean you just did an 'accurate', then yes. By the way, if you want a country with a terrible military record and real chickensh*ts for soldiers try Bangladesh. Or Iraq. Or ISIS, for that matter.
Your last post was like reading something by the Rain Man. And let's not get into countries with terrible military records considering where you're from eh? Sent from my GT-I5500 using Tapatalk 2
  9. Wouldn't you be if you were facing the prospect of not only being expelled from your degree but also having to come up with the 70k of fees you'd accrued to that point with no possibility of a payment plan?
70K?! Wtf? What are you studying and for how long??? The price in the UK would be like 40K max for a 4 year top tier course!
  10. The French? You mean the French who unilaterally acted to help stabilize Cote d'Ivoire and Mali in the past five years while the international community sat on their hands and did sod-all except bitch and moan and wring their hands like they always do? The French' date=' who have enjoyed thousands of years of military success, including a century-long conquest of England, who always get judged on six years of that history? "According to the historian Niall Ferguson, of the 125 major European wars fought since 1495, the French have participated in 50 – more than Austria (47) and England (43). Out of 168 battles fought since 387BC, they have won 109, lost 49 and drawn 10." (Telegraph, Oct. 22nd, 2010).[/quote'] Do you always take jokes so seriously?
