Hello everyone. I'm probably a little older than most of you, as I am in my early fifties. But I love a lot of hard rock/metal bands.
My favorite for about the last 20 years has been Dream Theater, but the other bands I'm currently listening to include AC/DC, anything with Ronnie James Dio as singer/songwriter (especially 1980 on), Blue Oyster Cult, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica and Queensryche. I also like the old Black Sabbath, and some of what Ozzy has done since leaving the band, but I'm really more of a Dio (R.I.P.!) fan. And Megadeth is pretty good, too.
Since I'm older, I don't listen to much "black" or "death" metal, or whatever they're calling it these days, but I don't look down on it. Some of those people are very talented. But you know the old saying: If it's too LOUD, you're too OLD!"
