  1. Well, Bosnia is now a muslim country, and they had been under a big influence of Turkey, so I don't find it strange. But we also have many dishes with origin from the east. Anyway, our gołąbki are pretty big. Just read here, on Wiki. I guess that it all tastes the same, but maybe I'm wrong :) @deathstorm we eat kielbasa here since childhood, so we used to it. But maybe for peple from the abroad it is a bomb indeed hehe. It's like with mentioned indian food - they like it, and they have no problem with such spicy flavour, 'cause they used to it. Edit: and don't beliece that we eat it on Christmass or wedding, like Wiki says. I've been on many weddings, and never ate there gołąbki haha! And in Poland traditional Christmass dishes are without meat.

  2. It's a pretty decent one. Fairly standard English bitter. A little like Hobgoblin, if you've tried that?
Nah, as far as I know I've never tried any english beer. Mainly I drink beer from Poland, Germany and Czech Republic. But I also like to drink something from other countries (my brother once bought even a japanese one, haha, it was pretty good), so I will be looking for this Hobgoblin. Especially that this booze has nice name haha, Privately, I like the most some local polish bock beers, and also german Paulaner. The latter one is quite popular in the world, from what I know.
  3. @Atrocity is sarma a traditional croatian dish? Because we have a very similar one here in Poland, called 'gołąbki'. And by the way, many polish people goes to Croatia on holiday, and they always say that croatian are the best hehe. So eating a balcan food would be a nice try I guess.

  4. Microwave red thai curry. I should buy more of these.
Curry is in general great, although the things can go brutal later, after the meal haha! Indian food in general is taste, but I don't know if I could eat it everyday (like the indian people do). My stomach would protest very hard at some point ;) Edit: Yeah, I've read indian, not thai, don't know why haha
  5. Ruun is awesome. Below The Lights is probably still my favorite, but I listen to Ruun, Isa, and Axioma a lot too.
Yeah, all of those albums are masterpieces. Enslaved is defenitely one of those bands that's getting better and better with each album. If you haven't already try also their last release RIITIIR.
  6. Aura Noir - Black Thrash Attack
Hmm, I will never get why this band is so popular. I mean OK, there are good, but mainly onstage. For me their albums are too less dynamic. Or at least their debut, 'cause after that I ended my adventure with them. I listen to Enslaved - Essence. The whole Ruun album is just perfect.
  7. Some good beer in a hand, calm around me and music in the background. I achieved many of my goals, and I will propably achieve the rest in the future. So now I just wish to have more good albums and taste beer from around the world. BTW I just realize that in the local store with beers there is a one called Iron Maiden, with Eddie on the label. I must defenitely try it out hehe, although it's not cheap.

  8. This is a problem for teenagers, really, and not for fans of music :) If you like a band/artist you don't care about such things as their popularity. You just listen to them. As far as it is good music it shouldn't be a problem. Other thing is that mainstream is full of mediocre bands, promoted by big companies. But even smaller labels many times promote crappy bands, so...

  9. And I 4 or even 3. It's very weak - there's too much fighting and almost EVERYTHING seems to have some computer-based relish. I hate it - Lord of the Rings had much more scenes without any computer efects/relishes. Also: I was imaginating the Hobbit world differently when I was reading it as a kid. So you can say that my low rating is based on some sort of sentiment. Generally speaking I liked LOTR very much, but I don't like Hobbit. The first episode was better though.

  10. I watched lately 'The Iceman', a movie about Richard Kuklinski. It was OK, but an interview with a guy (that is somewhere on Youtube) is far more intense than this thing. As always in the Holywood movies, there is too many changes in the biography.

  11. For me only two first albums of CoB are worth listenning (and partly Follow the Reaper). Now their music seems to be played for teens and I don't like it. I prefered heavier stuff with organic sound. I like some of Amon Amarth's album, despite that they have bad reputation amongst 'true' metalheads... Yet I don't like their newer stuff, it's too melodic for me. I prefered rawer stuff in vain of their debut or Fate of Norns. I don't know the Savage Playground, never heard of them. What kind of music they play?

  12. Well, speaking of Gra now my rating would be lower. I mean - I like this EP, but it's just solid portion of black metal, and nothing more. I also like Furia very much, but I am a bit dissapointed by their new EP W Melancholii. Martwa Polska Jesień is also my fav by the way, and I'm a bit worried that they can't do something better than this. I mean - their new albums are OK, but it is not as magical as the debut. If you want more, check out other stuff from Let The World Burn crew (Morowe, FDS, Seagulls Insane And Swans Deceased Mining Out The Void) and Arkona (PL) - though it's more oldchsool band.

  13. Samael - Solar Soul
And enjoying it? I will never understand how people can like the new face of Samael. But hey, from the other side it's not my buisness what you like to listen to. I am listenning to Summoning - Caradhras. Old Mornings Dawn is such a great album... It really is, even if the intro and screaming eagle in some moments are a bit... Silly.
  14. Man, it's weird seeing people I know on best of lists. My band played with The Flight of Sleipnir last year at the Denver Doomfest, I dug their set and they were nice enough guys, haven't heard their new one though. I was a little underwhelmed by Essence of Nine, hopefully it's a bit better. Caladan Brood was a band I heard of via internet forums, despite that I see one of the two guys at local shows and have played multiple gigs with his other band, so it was weird to find out his band was getting so much hype. I've only heard a track or two, but it sounded like some good epic Summoning/Rivendell type stuff.
Well, what can I say? For me it is especially weird to read an interview with somebody you know personally - once I've read an intie with a local death metal band Bestiar on big website here in Poland and I was kinda surprised by it :P Anyway the bands I've mentioned are really great and they deserve bigger support.
