Gianni Rosati (Giro) was born in Switzerland to a Dutch mother and an Italian father. Gianni picked
up the guitar in 1996 in his teenage years and taught himself how to play it for the next 10 years. He
was immediately influenced by heavy metal music. Bands like Pantera, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas
Priest, Megadeath and Rage Against the Machine had a profound influence in his style.
After recording three albums and touring across Europe, Gianni Rosati “Giro” moved to L.A. and began his solo project
Reign of Lies with the vision of finding musicians with the same passion and determination as himself. He went to the
prestigious Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. It was here, on the Hollywood music scene, that he found those
traits in Gregory Kate, Yoyo Bianchi, and Mashadi Maximus
