beyond the Styx

We’re "beyond the Styx" a band of Alternative Metal / Hardcore from Tours (FRANCE), in activity since October 2010.

In the twilight of the year 2010, near Tours, appeared "beyond the Styx," from the smoldering ashes of "breath after coma."
With first intentions resolutely Metal Hardcore, BTS experiment a strange musical production because of its particularly diverse influences...
Sometimes assimilated Deathcore by some, sometimes Metalcore by others. BTS is summed up by default to a kind of musical chimera: Alternative Ghost Hardcore.
Composed of Metal and Hardcore raw riffs, tinged by harmonies, ectoplasmic beatdowns and post chaotic flights, all connected by lead vocals with psycho/ schizophrenic traits at the limit of possession.

Around this musical hybridization germinate lyrics inspired by the meeting of the Greco-Christian mythology and the soul of modern times.
Our music derives from the depths of the human soul, between winds of fury, waves of despair and typhoons of madness ... Like a Raft of the Medusa venturing against winds and tides on the tumultuous waters of the Styx in search of an improbable land.
Whoever we are, everyone is doomed to exist in spite of himself on one side or the other of the Styx.
