Re: Getting the right tone? Help please! I would argue that Schecter's and all of the other brands you named are far inferior to an Ibanez Prestige series! I had a Hellraiser and returned it within a week haha. That being said, it's not the guitar. It's DEFINITELY my EQ and pedal setup

Hi thereee! I'm new to the forum so I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong area. I have an Ibanez Prestige RGA121 (EMG 81/85) and a Peavey 6505+ half stack. I'm currently EXTREMELY unsatisfied with my guitar tone. I'm running my guitar through (front of amp) an ibanez TS9 and an ISP Decimator and in the effects loop I'm running a Boss CS3. Does anyone have settings and/or suggestions for getting a really nice tone? I want something that can chug but also have beautiful leads. My lead tone just seems so dry as of right now. If anyone has a certain pedal that they enjoy (to add along with the ones I have) then please, input your opinion! Thanks
