  1. Re: Prescient - Instrumental prog metal Thanks man! we recently had our Ep launch and decided to throw in a cover of 'holy wars' by Megadeth. The song features 2 extra guys from Chaos Divine, another aus metal band who we are big fans of! sometime this year we will go into the studio to record our album with some vocal tracks, one song featuring the vocalist in this clip, Dave, who we think is a great singer. http://youtu.be/w8BHKWtgd9s If you grab a copy of the ep from our online store for $12 we will also throw in a copy of Vespers Descent's new album 'Fragments of the Forgotten' for free! bargain!
  2. Re: Prescient - Instrumental prog metal Prescient's new Ep 'The Polynomial Framework' is out now! Head to our store to order a copy at http://www.prescient.bigcartel.com or look out for it on itunes within the next couple of days! Here's another song from the Ep called 'Foresight' enjoy!
  3. Re: Prescient - Progressive metal from Australia Thanks guys! Unfortunately the Ep is already mastered and pressed so we can't change much now but there are a few songs on the ep that are more groove driven and less thrashy, i think there is a good mix of everything on it.
  4. Re: Prescient - Instrumental prog metal This is definitely true, we have played a handful of gigs so far and after the show the muso's will come up to us and say 'definitely stay instrumental' and then the regular average listeners say 'when are you getting a singer??' i suppose you can't please everyone. Animals as leaders would have to be one of my favourite bands at the moment!
  5. Re: Prescient - Progressive metal from Australia apologies, new to the forum, wont happen again!
  6. Re: Prescient - Instrumental prog metal Thanks for the feeback guys, Having no vocals was an issue we debated alot! but came to the conclusion that vocals might make the music a bit too busy as we didnt write with vocals in mind. Funnily enough we do have some newer songs with vocals but instrumental is what we are for now
