im based in keighley near bradford.....weve just started up and are working on our second song, have one full one written and looking for a bass player. we are all vets of the circuit so its a bit frustrating really. but the track we have is fast and heavy as shit...lol. We are looking at recording something with my dying brides axe man sometime this year hopefully tho. will deffo keep the forum posted on any stuff we release! \m/

yeah i like a few tracks but they do tend to piss me off more than i like them haha, i also recently found a band called, "Thy art is murder" they are Deathcore tho and i tend to steer away from anything thats got "core" at the end of the genre, But these guys are pretty cool. Also yeah the Negation and winds are two of my fave albums, such awesome music! seen them twice live and was in a pit the Rasta the singer last time and he stuffed the mic in my face while playing a track of organic hallucinosis so i started Growling down it lol that was ace. Also had a smoke with him outside and a good chat, met Krymm the drummer too. \m/

rate- bloodbath thats currently smashing my ears in, Slate- the twat next door who insists on listening to shite day in and day out! die twat!

I love many forms of music.... classical etc but metal is my life i play drums, guitar and piano and i also sing. music in general makes me feel awesome. Heavy metal is just another out let of certain emotions that i like letting loose. I hate dance music and the like but then i hear a good singer and i think wow thats amazing. Metal is the music i love and spend most of my time engrossed in.

i play death metal and also used to play claasic covers in a band, i find the faster i wanna play the lighter stick i use but then u ca go "too light" so its all about how much muscle u have to the weight of stick....im a big guy and have strong arms and i use vater power 5 a for death metal and they fit me really well for balance of speed and hitting power. I think maybe drop the signature stuff and just get back to basics. try out some different sizes and pay attention to how u play with them. U will find the right stick man u just have to persevere. good luck dude and happy drumming! \m/

hey dude, a few good bands there, im an a7x fan, but am more into death metal and black metal. Im listening to dimmu borgir and cannibal corpse quite a bit atm. I like finding new bands too and have found "Thy art is murder" from Australia recently...its deathcore (i dont really like anything that needs "core" at the end of it) but its pretty heavy and i can dig it! i also found a band called Devourment which kick some ass also. I also LOVE Pantera and grew up listening to them religiously. rock on dude! \m/
